Bomariba ward MCA Protus Moindi has dismissed claims that he intends to ditch ODM party for another party after Paul Matagaro, former Bonchari MP aspirant declared interest in the seat.

Moindi who was first elected in 2013 in an ODM ticket, maintained that he will wrestle in the nominations with other aspirants.

"I have no intention to ditch the ODM party. I am ready to battle out with other aspirants in the party's nominations," he said.

Moindi is a key leader in Kisii County Assembly and was elected Majority Leader a part from being ODM chairman in Bomariba ward.
