Kisii county gubernatorial aspirant and also South Mugirango MP Manson Nyamweya has said he has not dropped his bid for the Kisii governorship seat come 2017.
Addressing the Media at St Vincent in Kisii town, Nyamweya said that he is still in the race and nobody can stop him.
“I am in the race come 2017. I would like the residents to vote me as their Governor since I have many plans on how I can transform this county,” Nyamweya said.
He added that he does not fear anybody who is also eyeing the seat by challenging the Omogusii unity team to come out clear with their agenda of Uniting the community.
“I fear not, I am aware that Ongwae is going to defend the seat am confident that am going to clinch the seat,” he said.
Nyamweya accused the Omogusii unity by saying that the community is always united.
"I would support the unity, if they said that they are bargaining some seats in the national level, for instance, if Nyachae Goes for Gubernatorial seat in Nairobi I will be number one to support him since that the unity we want is on a nation level but not here,” said Nyamweya.
