Speaking at Bogitaa primary grounds on Friday, Opore noted that he appreciate the support from the locals in the constituency for the last 15 years he has been serving them as the MP.

"I accord the members in the constituency a lot of respect. I am not ready to disrespect any member in the region. I always work to ensure that everyone is satisfied with my leadership. As a leader I urge the people to play politics of hope and not politics that will disturb the peace in the society," Opore hinted.

"Being a leader does not guarantee me to lose respect for my people. My political opponents should avoid spreading propaganda that Opore owns Sungusungu and intimidates them. As 2017 polls nears, peaceful campaigns is all I would urge the aspirants to do," he added.

He issued a CDF cheque to Bogitaa ELCK secondary to build more classes.
