The ousted Senate minority leader, Moses Wetang'ula, on Sunday fired at Raila telling him that he did not bargain for the seat and therefore will not participate in the retreat as he had requested.
According to the Bungoma senator, it was an agreement by the NASA summit to be the minority leader.
Speaking during a presser, he reiterated that the seat was by virtue that he was the only principal in the parliament, neither did he bargain for the seat.
"When we supported our brother Raila Amolo Odinga in 2017 elections of 8th August I did not bargain to be a minority leader we supported him because we knew it was good for this country.
And it is the summit of Raila, Musalia, Kalonzo and myself that said since I was the only principal in parliament I will take the position of leadership because we needed to continue the organs of the party and the coalition," he explained.
On the issue of the two-weeks retreat by NASA senators as had agreed on Thursday during the meeting at Panafric hotel, the senator promised not to participate in it.
He also vowed not to take up the seat even if the ODM party decided to reinstate it.
"I shall and will not participate in that retreat, I will not even if offered by Raila and his ODM party take up the seat of the minority leader," vowed Wetang'ula.
