Trans Nzoia Governor Patrick Khaemba has said he will retain his deputy Dr. Stanley Tarrus as his running mate in the August elections.
He was speaking in Cherangany sub-county saying he has a good working relationship with his current deputy.
He was responding to claims that he should choose another running mate from another community preferably Luhya community.
The county boss said there was no need of replacing a winning team.
He said he will retain his deputy citing that they have a cordial working relationship.
“I will retain my Deputy Governor Dr. Stanley Tarus. I have a cordial working relationship with him and I will stick to him in the August polls.” He stated.
H further urged locals to re-elect him in the August polls.
“I urge you to support my last term in office so that in 2022 we support Dr. Stanley Tarus for Governor.” Stated Khaemba.
