Photo/Nairobi NewsA Jubilee MP has vowed to resign if National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga clinches power in the October 26 repeat elections.Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro said he cannot serve in a government led by Raila because he would 'fail' in his mandate to serve the electorate.“I am very ready to resign if you will not reelect President Uhuru Kenyatta because I can only realise my development goals in the Jubilee regime,” said Nyoro on Sunday.The youthful legislator was speaking during a campaign rally to drum up support for Kenyatta's reelection in Mathioya constituency, Murang'a County.The first-time MP criticised the move by the Opposition leaders to call for mass protests to push for the resignation of some IEBC officials, urging residents to reject them."Kenyans should wake up and put into power leaders who are development oriented and ignore those who are calling them to participate in meaningless demonstrations," he added.Nyoro was accompanied by area Senator Irungu Kang'ata and lawmakers Mary Wamaua (Maragua), Alice Wahome (Kandara), Joseph Nduati (Gatanga) and Peter Kimari (Mathioya).
