President Uhuru Kenyatta says he will have no business to cling to power should Kenyans vote against him in August adding that being in leadership is not a ‘do-die’ business.

Mr Kenyatta is facing a stiff opposition from among a united opposition front NASA, which has capitalized on his perceived failures on fight against corruption among other vices.

But in a spirited response to opposition, Uhuru said he would respect people’s choice and hand over power if he loses.

“Being in power is not a do or die thing. I will hand over if I lose to them fairly, “Said Uhuru in his final day of coastal tour on Sunday.

Also, the President added: “I expect them to as well retire if I beat them. I am ready to go to Gatundu if that is what Kenyans will decide in August.”

On Development, Kenyatta urged opposition leaders to work closely with government to implement a number of projects across the country.

He said he is ready to face his opponents based on policies adding that he won’t allow the country to plunge into chaos because of politics.
