President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta has said he will serve all Kenyans equally regardless of their political leaning.

Kenyatta, whose win on October 26 poll, was upheld by the Supreme Court said no Kenyan should fear over their choice in the just concluded election.

“The president would like to assure all Kenyans, those who voted for him and those who did not, that he will be president of all Kenyan," Kenyatta said through a televised address to the nation by State House spokesman Manoah Esipisu.

He added: "No one should fear that they will be marginalised or penalised for their political choice."

Uhuru will be sworn into office on Tuesday, November 28.

“Next week, the president will take his oath of office. On that day, he will rededicate himself to the path of peace, prosperity, constitutional order, and of healing,” Esipisu said.
