Speaking at Magenche ward on Tuesday at a burial Maangi said that they have been working closely with Ongwae and he believes working with someone else will give him more space to deliver the promises they gave to the residents.

Maangi though didn’t mention whether he will deputise his close ally Chris Obure who he has been campaigning to fly the Jubilee flag in the county.

“I always support the leader who delivers and I am sure that the person I will deputise will be having the same development agenda as the one I have," he added.

He, however, called upon the residents to ensure that they give Jubilee maximum support so that they can be able to realise their development goals.

Maangi has been in the forward run to campaign for Jubilee in the region for the last few months and he recently endorsed Obure for the top county job.
