Kakamega Senator and gubernatorial aspirant Boni Khalwale has reaffirmed his unwavering support for NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga in this year’s elections.
However, Khalwale said that his support will only end in the August 8 polls and that he will not stand by him in any other election.
“I fully support Mr Odinga in this year’s election but only for one term,” Khalwale said at Ogalo Trading Centre in Busia county.
He said that this year’s elections, it was important that the Luo community reciprocates the support by standing behind Luhya candidates in the 2022 elections.
The senator also urged residents of Busia county to vote overwhelmingly for Dr Paul Otuoma as their next governor in the polls.
He asked the incumbent governor Sospeter Ojaamong to be satisfied with his one term and leave the space for others to lead the county.
