Renown Kisii businesswoman Mrs Everline Ogendo has said that she will ensure that she unseats current Kisii county Women representative Mrs Mary Otara as early as 8 am.
Speaking while donating sanitary pads for school ongoing girls at Nyasuguta secondary on Tuesday, Ogendo said that the current Women Rep has failed the county women and its high time she gets replaced.
Ogendo said that her past track record in helping the public and creating jobs more so for women gives her and upper hand to lead the women in the county and ensure that their rights are catered for.
"Most women in Kisii county have never seen even their representative and yet they voted for her overwhelmingly in 2013 and its high time that we replace her with me so that I can carry on our agenda," she added.
Ogendo called upon the residents to ensure that they vote for her come 2017 so that she can bring change.
