Kioko was responding to TIFA's opinion poll released yesterday which ranked him second at 7% in a tie with Boniface Kabaka.

Senator Muthama led the polls with 34%. "Muthama's popularity is coming down so fast if the trend continues.

Henry had met over 70 aspirants for different positions in Machakos county at Machakos yesterday when he responded to the polls.

He also renewed his calls for public debate saying "there is need to evaluate the performance of the current senator who has tabled only four bills in the senate up to now. This is haphazard and unacceptable."

According to Kioko, the electorate must participate in a public debate to question on performance and set expectations for future senatorial candidates.

"The electorate must be involved in shaping performance expectations for the senate," he said.
