Turbo Member of Parliament-elect Janet Sitienei Rotich has pledged to support the Jubilee government.
Rotich who won the MP seat as an independent candidate said she would work with other Jubilee MPs in supporting the government's agenda in the 12th Parliament.
Speaking in Eldoret, Monday, the MP-elect asked the Jubilee party to consider including her in their plans in the national Parliament.
She also congratulated the President-elect for his reelection and expressed optimism that the Jubilee administration would steer the country to greater heights.
"The President clearly deserved to be reelected given his development record across the country and I wish to congratulate him for earning the trust of Kenyans," Mrs. Rotich noted.
"As an MP for Turbo I will support the Jubilee government in the National Parliament and anywhere that my support will be needed," she added.
Rotich was first a member of the Jubilee party before resigning to vie for the MP seat as an independent candidate after she lost during the nominations.
