Nakuru County Senator elect Susan Kihika has assured that she will closely work with Governor Lee Kinyanjui to develop the county despite their earlier political differences.
This after their political differences arose when a list of proposed Jubilee nominees for MPs and MCAs was released.
Kihika, the former Nakuru county assembly speaker supported the list of nominees, which had names of some of her relatives while governor Kinyanjui and other county leaders rejected the list and compiled a different list which was accepted by the Jubilee party.
But senator Kihika on Wednesday, said she will support Kinyanjui’s administration given that they have different roles to play in the county level.
She assured that she will lobby for more money from the national government to the county government to develop the county.
Kihika noted that her oversight role as the county senator will not favor any individual in the county.
