Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua on Saturday lashed out at CORD leadership accusing it of trying to topple the government.
Mbugua led Jubilee MPs and local leaders in a peaceful march to condemn calls by the opposition for anti-IEBC demos in Nakuru.
The leaders said Nakuru residents will not be used by the opposition to disrupt the prevailing peace.
He said leaders calling for demos do not care about the welfare of Kenyans but are out to bring division and destruction of property.
The leaders warned Cord against organizing any demos in Nakuru. They said the county is cosmopolitan and they will not allow any demos as that can easily degenerate into chaos.
The march which began in Kaptembwo through Shabab ended at Kenyatta Avenue where the leaders addressed residents.
