Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has declared that he will never stand for the presidency again after the August 8, defeat.
Odinga revealed this on Sunday when he had an interview with the Financial Times news agency.
"I’m not going to be a candidate again. We just want Kenyans to know what happened, what the whole world is not understanding is happening," he said.
However, Odinga said he will never use any unconstitutional means to grab the presidency from President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"It is not about me. It’s not about Raila Odinga there’s no point in people going to elections in the future, queuing for hours to vote or running around for months campaigning. At the end of the day it’s the computer in the national tallying center that’s making the decisions," he added.
Odinga also said they have massive evidence that they will table soon to show how the election was manipulated in favor of Jubilee.
“We will show the kind of charade the whole world has been treated to," he said.
Raila has urged his supporters not to report to work on Monday, while the international community has been piling pressure on Odinga to seek to follow the constitutional mean in addressing his displeasure on the polls.
