Governor Hassan Joho has told President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto to prepare for a massive defeat in Mombasa during the August 8 polls.
While addressing a charged crowd at Frere Town ground in Nyali on Thursday, the firebrand governor accused the Jubilee administration of having no agenda for the county and instead using his name to gain political mileage."I've been informed that Uhuru and Ruto were here and that their main agenda was to discuss Hassan Joho. Endelea kusema. Hassan Joho hulala fresh. Sikosi usingizi juu ya Uhuru Kenyatta...But I warn you, on August 8, you will know the importance of the people of Mombasa," said Joho, amid cheers from the crowd. The outspoken county boss criticised Uhuru for allegedly lacking an agenda for the residents of Mombasa, adding that the President has been spending his time in the coastal county “storytelling”.Joho's attack on the President comes a few days after the Head of State poked holes into the county chief's development record four years after coming into office.
