Emurua Dikir MP Johana Ngeno has reinstated that he will not rush to marriage.
Speaking in Siwot, Kuresoi South while accompanied by his ally Kuresoi South MP Zakayo Cheruiyot, the legislator said his priority is development.
"I may not marry soon until I accomplish all the promises I made before I was elected. My principle is simple; concentrating on one thing at a time. I will marry when I retire from politics so that I can concentrate on raising my kids and caring for my wife," the MP said amidst applause.
The MP said some of his opponents are moving around his constituency telling people not to elect leaders who are not married.
"I want to tell them to try other tactics. My people elected me because of being results oriented, a person who does what he says he can do," he added.
In the meeting, Zakayo officially opened Siwot Dispensary and urged the locals to support him in the next general election.
