Former Kisii county senator Chris Obure have slammed a section of leaders in the region who are blaming him for misleading the Gusii region by rallying them to support Jubilee.
According to Obure, he has been in the fore front to ensure that development in the county picks up and he believes that its only Jubilee that will be able to deliver that compared to NASA that doesn’t recognise the community.
Speaking at Ogembo market on Thursday evening Obure defended his trip to Nakuru State House and said that they went to ensure the Uhuru agenda for the Gusii community is still active and said that he won’t stop campaigning for Jubilee.
“In the National assembly we were able to receive deputy minority leader post along with a couple of house chair committees and we are sure we will be given a good number of cabinet secretary posts once Jubilee resumes office” he added.
Obure called upon the locals to rally behind Jubilee and support Uhuru’s presidential bid so that they can realize the development agendas jubilee have in place for them.
