Speaking during a radio interview at Radio Jambo on Wednesday morning, Kidero noted that he will have no option if he loses party nomination ticket to vie for Nairobi top seat in 2017.

"Why will I quit the party just because I have lost a party ticket? I will support a candidate who will win the ODM party ticket ahead of the 2017 polls. ODM as a party does not issue direct tickets. Each candidate including me must undergo a successful party nomination process to seek seats in 2017. I am not afraid of any candidate who will come out to compete me," said Kidero.

He noted that Miguna Miguna, who has declared interest to vie for the top seat in Nairobi, is welcome back to ODM to seek the seat on the party ticket.

"Miguna should not be making noise out there. He was in ODM and still if he comes back he will be given a chance to seek the seat on ODM party ticket," he argued.

He refuted claims that he has personal differences with Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko and women rep Rachael Shebesh.

"Sonko, Shebesh and I are good friends despite the political differences. We are leaders representing the county. Sonko and Shebesh is free to visit me in my office and talk about issues of development in the county", he said.
