Msuo Abubakar, a 2016 KCSE candidate who scored grade "B" from Aga Khan High School, Mombasa, has faulted Education CS Fred Matiang'i for allocating little time to National exam marking which contributed to error in grading.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, Abubakar disputed his results saying he was supposed to score grade "A".
"I cried not because I failed but because my targeted results did not come. I had prepared well but the outcome did not satisfy me," he said.
"I expected an A in all subjects except Maths. I used to work extra hard in school, going for tuition after classes until late in the night," he added.
He intends to study Law in University. The 2016 National examinations have been widely seen as the most guarded in the history of the country.
Education CS has been praised by members of the public including President Uhuru Kenyatta for delivering credible exam results that saw schools register poor results.
