The United Democratic Movement (UDM) candidate pointed out that if given a choice, his party would prefer to work with the opposition since he is an opposition person.

“First let us start by saying Jubilee is the problem, Jubilee must be removed. So we won’t work with Jubilee at all,” Murgor said.

“We must be known as an opposition party, and I’m an opposition person. So if it’s working with others maybe it will be with the opposition,” he added.

Murgor however avoided mentioning which party in the opposition he would associate with, saying all the opposition leaders are his friends.

“What I can say is that the opposition leaders are all my friends, I believe we can sit together and talk about problems facing this country. But for now we have not talked about coming together,” he stated.

The former Director of Public Prosecution noted that he will be announcing his running mate soon.

He was speaking during a television interview on Sunday.
