The IAAF members further expressed their delight to be in Kenya calling it a “beautiful country”.
Coe, who has been in the nation since Sunday overseeing arrangements for the games commended the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for setting up the competition.
First Lady Margaret Kenyatta who is the patron of the U18 championships has worked hand in hand with LOC to ensure a flawless competition.
Coe will be leaving Nairobi soon, so that he can make the necessary arrangements for the upcoming (senior) IAAF World titles in London a month from now.
Coe said he would have accepted President Uhuru's invitation to stay in the nation any longer were it not for his busy schedule.
It was the fourth time Coe travelled Kenya after last attending the 2007 World Cross Country Championships in Mombasa.
He further expressed his satisfaction with the accommodation and catering being offered at the Kenyatta University’s Sports Village for those competing.
