Kikuyu MP Ichungwa Kimani on Friday met with investors as far from Britain and USA to premeditate on skills and plans on the development growth of Kikuyu sub county.

Ichungwa said that he is keen in working with private sectors and investors from all over the world to fulfill his manifesto set during his campaign in making the region an industrialized constituency in Kenya.

Speaking to the residents in Thika town, the TNA legislator Ichungwa said that he will work with the both foreign and local investors to see the Sub County has benefited from all aspects and gained westernized knowledge that will boost the economy high.

“I will work with both international and domestic investors to make the area a very productive sub county in Kiambu and Kenya as well,” said Ichungwa.

He noted that in the past few years, the local investors have been loyal to the country of Kenya and by welcoming the foreign investors; it’s a strategy to ensure they both join hands and confer on project development before it commences.

Ichungwa said that he is keener in making the dreams of the residents come true and in partnership with the county government; plans are underway in establishing 24 hours CCTV footage in the Kikuyu town to tame and eradicate crime which has been on rampant.

The law maker ahs however lauded the people of kikuyu for their patience during his tour in the United States and said that he has come with an intention of making the area different from where he left it.

He has however called on more well wishers to come join hands in investing in the area bearing in mind that Kikuyu is a very productive and fertile area with plenty of food stuffs and companies in the area.
