The Chief Executive Officer of Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB), Dr. Ezekiel Mutua has officially opened a one-week training session of the KFCB directors and managers on Public Finance Management in Mombasa.
The event which was opened on Monday, March 12th, saw the Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) lead the training to ground the KFCB Board on prudent and responsible management of public resources.
The training was in fulfillment of the requirements of the law to ensure continuous training of the Board on audit, governance, risks and internal controls.
“Board of Directors and top managers in an organization are at the helm of strategic decision making and implementation of policies and these decisions determine to a significant degree, the success of the organization by entrenching effective policies, ethical and prudent practices," said Mutua.
