ICT Cabinet Secretary Joe Muchai has commended his counterpart in Education Fred Matiang’i for his efforts to curb exam cheating.
Muchai said that Matiang'i's efforts were meant to ensure that the education system in the country works well.
He said that the measures have since eliminated cartels who had put the country in bad light due to the unfair platform of examination across the nation.
“You cannot fit in a global world if you go cheating in exams,” said Muchai.
The CS said that everyone in the education sector should continue to support Matiang’i so that candidates have real results that will make sure they compete with the global world.
Speaking on Friday at Mango Tree in Homabay county, the CS also added that the government was ready to roll out a nationwide digital learning program.
The CS was accompanied by ICT PS Broadcasting and Telecommunication Sammy Itemere and Deputy County Commissioner for Rachuonyo North sub-county Oddilliah Ndeti among others
