I am ready to face the consequences of my attack on the National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga, controversial Gatundu South MP has declared.

Kuria, who on Tuesday launched an abusive attack on the Opposition leader during a campaign tour in Kiambu County, said he was not ready to apologise or seek forgiveness from the former Prime Minister.

"For how long will Raila pester us? Let me get jailed. Where will they take me? Who were the prisons built for? Wasn't Mandela jailed and released?" he asked in a live stream on his Facebook page.

In the public rally at Wangige market, the MP said Raila has become a headache for the Jubilee administration, hurling unprintable insults at him and his family.

In another Facebook post, Kuria called for a massive hunt of 200,000 registered voters who did not vote in the August election in Kiambu County.

Kuria's remarks have triggered public outrage with a section of Kenyans calling on Inspector of Police Joseph Boinnet to arrest him.

"Kuria's remarks should not be taken lightly as they are a recipe for ethnic profiling," said Nyando MP Jared Okello.
