Ida Odinga says that she is confident that she will replace Margret Kenyatta as First Lady in August given the ‘renaissance’ among the Kenyan people.

Her husband, Raila Odinga is the opposition outfit NASA flag bearer and is set to try is forth stab at presidency after three unsuccessful attempts.

Although quiet, Ida campaigned for Odinga for the first time since the official campaigns at Kilimani Primary on Saturday.

“The will on the Kenyan people is unstoppable and I am sure I will serve you as First Lady. I know what the country is undergoing and I will not let you down.

“It has been a long struggle but finally I know we shall be there. The country will go to the right hand sand from which we shall define our destiny as a country,” said Ms. Odinga.

In 2013, Ms Odinga was in charge of the powerful outfit Friends of Raila Odinga popularly known as FORA and she led campaigns across the country.

But on a sharp contrast, the current First Lady Margret Kenyatta is quiet and rarely makes appearances in Uhuru Kenyatta’s campaigns.
