Cord leader Raila Odinga's wife, I da Odinga on Saturday thanked Mombasa county boss Hassan Joho for naming a street after her deceased son Fidel.

Speaking during ODM's 10th-anniversary celebrations at Mama Ngina Drive in Mombasa, Ida said that the gesture reminds her a lot about Fidel. 

“I want to thank you "Bwana governor and your team for remembering Fidel and naming a road after him. It reminds us that at one time we had a child called Fidel Odinga,” said Ida. 

Ida further took a swipe at newly launched Jubilee party stating that it cannot offer meaningful leadership to Kenyans due to the buying of support.
