Cord leader Raila Odinga has reiterated his claims that Jubilee coalition has a secret deal with Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to rig 2017 presidential election.
In an interview with Citizen TV, Odinga supported his allegations pointing at how the electoral body handled the Okoa Kenya signatures.
He questioned why the report on the signatures first came from Jubilee politicians Aden Duale and Johnson Sakaja, and not IEBC officials.
"This was evidence that Jubilee and IEBC had planned to collapse the initiative. We first knew about the data of Okoa Kenya from Aden Duale and Johnson Sakaja. IEBC and Jubilee are conjoined twins. IEBC can conduct credible elections. We will not allow it to conduct a general election in which we are participating,” he said.
The opposition leader added that, "We don’t need to explain the obvious. It is there for all to see."
Cord has planned a series of demonstrations against IEBC to send its commissioners home.
Cord leaders announced weekly demonstrations in a bid to make the elections chiefs resign.
