The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has released a schedule for elections in various wards and Kitutu Chache South constituency.
IEBC said on Monday that polls for Kitutu Chache South MP seat will be held on November 7, 2017.
On the same date, elections will be held in Masalani Ward (Garissa) and Bogichora in Nyamira County.
IEBC put off elections for Kitutu Chache MP seat after Jubilee Party candidate Leonard Gwaro Mwamba passed on in July.
Similarly, Jubilee party candidate for Bogichora ward, John Okebiro, died four days to August 8 elections, forcing the polls body to postpone the elections for the MCA post.
Okebiro passed on after he was admitted over exhaustion, which resulted from depleted levels of blood sugar.
Ibrahim Abdullahi Muktar, MCA candidate for Masalani ward in Garissa county, died on Wednesday, July 5, in a tragic road accident.
