The Kenya National Human Rights Commission has called on IEBC to give more information on polling station with no Internet coverage.

This is after the IEBC listed 11,155 out of 40883 polling stations as those with no network coverage.

According to IEBC, the affected presiding officers will have to move regions with 3G and4G networks in order to transmit the results.

Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) said the commission should explain more on these polling centres as a way of averting  suspicion.

"We expect that technology, as demonstrated by IEBC, will work and the provisions of the law followed to the letter. The commission has noted the announcement by IEBC of the 111,155 polling stations that have identified as having no network coverage and we wish to call upon them to provide detailed information on the particular stations that are affected," said Kagwiria Mbogori  who is KNCHR chairperson.
