The IEBC has cleared seven candidates for the Nairobi senate race.
They include 23-year-old Suzanne Silantoi Lenge who is vying as an independent.
Ms Lengwe said that having complained a lot about bad leadership, it is time for her to bring the change she has always desired by being the next Nairobi senator to replace incumbent Mike Sonko who is now vying for the governorship.
One of the candidates, John Wamagata (below) of Safina party, says he will fight to have the Senate dismantled if elected.
He says the senate’s role can be handled by a committee of the National Assembly.
On Sunday, Jubilee Party’s Johnson Sakaja was cleared with six more candidates being cleared later.
