Most voter registration centers in Bahati constituency witnessed a limited number of voters on the last day of the one month-long exercise.
In some centres, the clerks seemed to be relaxing as they had no one to attend to.
Far from what was expected, only a few centres witnessed long queues.
Kiamaina MCA Samwel Kamau attributed this to what he termed as Kenyans losing hope in voting.
"Its not normal to see empty centres on the last day because we are used to seeing Kenyans waiting for the last minute rush," said Kamau.
"Kenyans have lost hope in voting and that is why they don't want to register," he added.
