With electoral justice topping Raila's agenda, an insider says, Uhuru has succumbed to pressure to have only one commissioner in future serving at IEBC.

"His main problem is electoral injustice and he had to be critical in entering an MoU with Uhuru," said a top ODM official who spoke in confidence.

He further said: "We shall have only one IEBC commissioner at the national level to avoid external interference. He will be working with top agents from competing parties."

Last year, Ex-commissioner Roselyn Akombe accused her colleagues of being biased moments before quitting the commission.

Currently, the commission is operating with 7 officials with the chairman's powers reduced drastically in Jubilee's election law amendment bill.

Blogger Robert Alai, on his Twitter account, confirmed this critical yet important agreement that would see several commissioners sent home.

"First causality of Raila-Uhuru agreement is IEBC. The agreement includes having only one commissioner."
