A wife to a senior Independent Electoral and Boundary Commission (IEBC) official has reportedly stopped attending church services due to ‘harsh criticism thrown’ her way due to her husband’s position.

Sources familiar with the saga said the quiet wife received hostile reception from church members who accused her husband of “bungling” the August 8 presidential election.

When pressure was too much, she decided to quit all the church members’ WhatsApp groups.

 She also stopped attending the church which is located in Nairobi’s Lavington.

She also stopped attending church services to avoid ‘stubborn’ members who kept telling her to ‘go tell the husband to quit IEBC’.
