The Ind[edent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has sent its message of condolence message to the family of the late Caroline Odinga.
Caroline, a deputy presiding officer in Ugenya, was found dead near her home in Sega, Siaya County.
"The Commission sends condolences to the family of the late Ms Caroline Odinga."
"She was a DPO (temporary staff) in Ugenya during the polls," the electoral agency said on twitter.
The 34-year-old's body was discovered on Saturday.
Ukwala OCPD Paul Tiriki while confirming the incident, said that investigations are underway.
Her husband Mathias Otieno told reporters the wife had gone to Sega polytechnic for a meeting with other IEBC officials.
She leaves behind four children.
