Despite being ordered to allow opposition NASA partial access to their ICT servers, electoral body IEBC is yet to comply with the order.

On Monday, the unanimous decision by a seven bench judge ruled that the records to be obtained from the servers were to be presented before the court on Tuesday evening.

But in unprecedented turnout of events, NASA lawyer Paul Mwangi says the order is yet to be respected by the commission.

“At Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, we have been stonewalled,” he says in his Tuesday morning Tweet.

He adds:”No Read Only Access and they want to give already printed logs. It’s back to court in the morning.”

In their argument, NASA claimed access to servers would allow them do proper scrutiny in addition to authentication of Forms 34A and 34B as used by the IEBC.

The latest development may yet again complicate the matter owing to the fact that Supreme Court is working under strict timelines.

The electoral body is however yet to comment on the matter which may resurface again in the Tuesday morning proceedings.
