Social media users have continued to question the integrity of the electoral body, IEBC, over what they term as ‘massive’ fraud in Form 34As that are uploaded in the commission’s website.
On Sunday, Chairman Wafula Chebukati had to defend the total number of voter turnout following his controversial tweet that showed otherwise.
“The 48 percent I posted was derived from voters who had turned up between 6am to 3pm. We had around 4.5 million voters after 4pm who turned up,” said Chebukati.
But the resilient Twitter users have circulated a few forms that expose the incompetency in the commission with officials committing errors that led to nullification of August polls.
A number of those form shows massive deliberate mistakes committed which yet again could lead to another court contest.
“We are having even a polling station where everyone voted regardless of the poor turnout,” noted Nelson Havi.
Chris Boke added: “Some polling stations indicate that the valid votes cast are more than what the initial record shows.”
For instance, in Kimumu Polling Station, Moiben constituency, it is indicated that all 671 voters turned up even with the score of all candidates showing that only 283 turned up.
Again, in Malava constituency, Chemuche ward, a polling station indicates that 77 people turned up for voting whereas the total scored by all candidates in six voters.
