IEBC has finally responded to the Supreme Court full judgment that annulled President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election on August 8.
The full judgment was delivered on Wednesday led by Chief Justice David Maraga.
Through its official Twitter handle, IEBC stated that the commission was still looking at the ruling.
The commission further added that it will soon communicate on the way forward on how to implement the recommendations."We are studying the detailed Supreme Court ruling. We will communicate how we will implement the recommendations," IEBC tweeted.
Chief Justice David Maraga noted that IEBC should set up a new voter transmission and tallying system that was cited as the main reason behind the mismanagement of the last poll.
NASA's Raila Odinga had moved to court with the petition.
On Thursday President Uhuru Kenyatta said that he was shocked with the full ruling but since being a Democrat, he will have to respect it.
