The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has been ordered to receive nomination papers of Presidential aspirant Peter Solomon Gichira.
Justice George Odunga directed the Independent Electoral Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to accept Mr Gichira’s nomination papers and consider them within 36 hours.
IEBC was also ordered to give a written explanations to the aspirant should the papers be rejected.
Gichira is facing charges of attempted suicide. He is accused of trying to jump off IEBC offices when his papers were rejected.
He denied the charges and was released on a Sh200,000 cash bail.
