The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is expected to hold a crisis meeting, Monday, following revocation of ballots tend worth Sh2.5 billion.

The Public Procurement Administrative Review Board on Friday ordered termination the exercise, of finding a supplier for the strategic election materials.

The commission alluded to errors in tender documents and directed the process to be repeated again.

IEBC commissioners will discuss on the effects of the order by the review board.

Activist Okiya Omtatah vowed to go to court to seek the directive made by the board be quashed.

“Tomorrow (Monday), I will get the certified ruling then I will proceed to court to seek orders setting aside the ruling by the review board,” Omtatah said, Sunday.
