The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) will on Monday, July 10, hold a meeting with all the eight presidential candidates, starting 11:00am.
This is after the High Court nullified the presidential ballot paper tender awarded to Dubai based Al Ghurair Printing and Publishing LLC, following a petition by the National Super Alliance (Nasa).
Nasa moved to court seeking cancellation of the Sh2.5 billion ballot papers printing tender, awarded to the firm, saying it had a close relationship with Jubilee Party presidential candidate, President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The court directed IEBC, Friday, to identify a new supplier to print ballot papers for the presidential vote, saying IEBC did not involve the public, during the tendering process.
In a press briefing, the Commission chairman Wafula Chebukati, also invited members of the public, to submit memoranda on procurement of presidential ballot papers by July 11, and a public hearing on July 12.
IEBC further indicated it would appeal the High Court decision on public participation, on procurement process.
"The said meetings and public participation shall be open to the media," said Chebukati, Saturday.
