[Photo|Courtesy]Hours after the Supreme Court nullified President Uhuru Kenyatta's August elections win, and ordering fresh presidential election in 60 days, three voters have filed an application in court.Ben Wanasakaami, Kevin Olwanga and Brian Asin are seeking orders to stop the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) from conducting the election.In the application, filed Friday evening, the trio argued that led by its chairman Wafula Chebukati, IEBC violated the constitution for failing to conduct a credible poll, and so should not conduct any election unless changes are made.They also want the court to declare that eight top IEBC officials (chairman, CEO and six commissioners), lack the obligatory qualifications to exercise public authority, as per the Chapter Six of the Constitution on leadership and integrity."A declaration that a person having been mismanaging the presidential election and in particular the 1st to 8th respondents shall not qualify to hold a public/state office," read part of their application, which has named the commissioners among 10 respondents, including IEBC itself and the Attorney General.
