[Photo|ODM]President Uhuru Kenyatta is on Tuesday (today), scheduled to meet the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) commissioners, over fresh presidential election.Uhuru, is scheduled to meet IEBC team, in the afternoon, after Opposition team, led by principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula arrived at the venue, Bomas of Kenya, slightly before noon, for the meeting.Uhuru and Raila, are likely to meet, physically for the meeting with IEBC, once the commissioners hold separate closed door meetings with each party. The issue at hand is that Raila's NASA team is decrying Uhuru's Jubilee team, over proposed Electoral Laws Amendments, and irreducible minimums, that IEBC should implement before the fresh October 26 presidential election, while Jubilee wants Nasa to drop its demands and accept the amendments.IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati, however said in case they meet with Raila and Uhuru in the same room, the commission will not try to mediate anything since it is not a mediator. He said IEBC's aim is to ensure presidential candidates are briefed with the ongoing preparations of fresh presidential election, besides listening to their concerns.
