As the nation prepares for the October 17 polls, IEBC was to meet NASA and Jubilee at their Anniversary Towers office to discuss matters election, however, the meeting has collapsed.

Both sides of the political factions have issued their complaints why the meeting did not happen as earlier planned.

According to NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi, they obeyed the honored the calls for the meeting but it is IEBC who were not ready for the meeting.

"We arrived here at 11:15 with our presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka but we didn't see the presidential candidate from Jubilee and his running mate this means IEBC was not prepared for the meeting," said Mudavadi.

"IEBC has also given us a new document that we need to internalise before we meet them because the document was not given before the meeting," he added.

On their part Jubilee through Deputy President William Ruto, said they only have one concern that if realised then they can work with the commission.

"Thursday is complicate for us because we have cabinet because have we a government to run.Our concern was whatever the commission agree, it should just work together and prove that they have ironed out the issues and move in one direction we have no issues," said Ruto.
