The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has officially appealed a High Court ruling that halted the printing of presidential ballot papers.
The court moved to court on Monday seeking to lift the ban on tender awarded to Al Ghurair Printing and Publishing LLC.
The Wafula Chebukati led commission is also seeking an order stopping implementation of the judgment until its appeal is heard and determined.
High Court judges Joel Ngugi, George Odunga, and John Mativo made a finding that the commission had failed to engage in public participation while awarding the tender during a ruling last week on Friday.
The National Super Alliance had moved to seeking to halt the process.
