Political Parties have been given till Saturday to submit to IEBC lists of members whom they want nominated to Parliament and the county assemblies.
Every political party participating in the General Election will have to submit their official list, failure to which they will be locked out in the allocation of the special seats in the National Assembly, Senate or the 47 county assemblies.
In an advert that ran on Sunday Nation, IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati requested the parties to submit their lists electronically to the candidate registration management system before then submitting in hard copy.
“Where the political party fails to submit its...list or the...list is not submitted in accordance with these requirements and procedures, the...party shall not be considered for the allocation of the seats,” Chebukati said.
