On Tuesday, an IEBC official was arrested for giving out double ballot papers in Mombasa.
According to reports the accused, Kennedy Mulwa, gave out two ballot papers for the Senatorial and MP positions to voters at the polling station.
Mulwa is set to be charged in court pending investigations according to Mombasa regional police commander Larry Kieng.
"Our officer acted swiftly after being notified by witnesses and we arrested him with the papers," he said as reported by The Star.
This follows another incident in Bomet where a county official was detained for bring voters.
Tuesday’s election have been fairly smooth so far as voters wait to hear updates on the presidential race.
