The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has nullified the results of a Kilgoris polling station.
The constituency returning officer Elijah Ombogo nullified the results of the Enenkeshui polling centre after it was discovered that votes tallied were more than voters registered.
"The total number of registered voters at Enenkeshui polling station in Kilgoris central ward is 285 while the total number of votes cast on Tuesday is 325," said Mr Ombogo as reported by the Daily Nation.
He further insisted that the issue be investigated and that the officer in charger should write a statement.
He added that the officers in charge will be held responsible for any electoral malpractices.
"We officials, mostly from the teaching profession were trained for four days, but I have been inundated with calls from the field with everyone asking how to go about doing some things," said Mr Ombogo.
